Three Ways to Cope with Holiday Stress

How are you feeling as you approach the holiday season?

From overwhelming joy, excitement, and happiness to extreme stress, worry and sadness, the holiday season can invite a melting pot of thoughts and emotions.

How Can You Cope?

1. Accept all thoughts and emotions as they are, and allow yourself to feel them exactly as they are. It is OK to be who you are as you are in the moment. To accept and experience is to release and let go of what can drain your energy and replenish what fuels it. LOVE who you are as you are.

2. Take care of YOU. For a lot of us, we are faced with additional responsibilities during the holiday season, and as a result, we can feel more drained during this time of year and less able to find the energy we crave. YOU do what YOU need to maintain and restore your well-being. Taking care of YOU increases your motivation and energy and helps you to free more time to tackle your to-do list.

3. Give Thanks. Thanksgiving is a wonderful reminder to shift your focus to all you have and be grateful for it. Training your mind to be more consciously aware of all you have replenishes your mind, body, and soul and allows you to choose to approach each day with a foundation of inner support, strength, and joy.

All of the above is a journey of experience, and a journey worth taking not only for the benefit of others but for the benefit of you. Accept, Give Thanks and Take Care of You this holiday season and beyond.

I‘d like to take this time to express my deepest gratitude to you. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to share with you and for being a part of the Pathways to Presence community.

Wishing you a Joyous Thanksgiving and Holiday Season.

With Love, Light and Gratitude,
Sandy
